WK&T Sports is an American public access television station based in Mayfield, Kentucky.〔(Contact WK&T Sports << WK&T Sports )〕 It is owned and operated by WK&T Telecommunications, a unit of the West Kentucky Rural Telephone Cooperative. ==Programming format and history== The station is the only sports channel that exclusively cablecasts local sports involving local high school sport teams in the lower Jackson Purchase region of far Western Kentucky. High school athletic programs showcased on the station include those of Calloway County, Murray, Graves County, Mayfield, and Carlisle County high schools. The station often broadcasts replays of most football and basketball games. Some select KHSAA district basketball tournament games may also be run on the station. WK&T Sports also runs Murray State University Racers football and basketball, except for those that are run by the American Sports Network as part of their Ohio Valley Conference men’s basketball package, which would be carried by over-the-air MyNetworkTV affiliates WDKA in Paducah, WUXP in Nashville, and Jackson, Tennessee’s NBC outlet WNBJ-LD.
